Direct chat link has two distinct benefits:
- It is useful when you don’t have access to add the embed code to a site
- It allows you to customize how the Widget link will look like. It can be just a link, it can be an image of your choice
To get the Direct chat link:
1. Log-in to your tawk.to dashboard. https://dashboard.tawk.to/
2. Go to Admin at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.
3. Select the correct property in the Property List section.
4. Select the Chat Widget option on the side menu.
5. Copy the Direct Chat Link
6. Format and add it to your website
